Maintenance Mechanic
Duties/Responsibilities:
Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
- Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.
- Oils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance.
- Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.
- Orders and installs replacement parts for machines.
- Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
- Repairs broken machines quickly and efficiently.
- Prepares reports documenting work performed.
- Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
- Coordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines.
- Makes necessary modifications and implements tests runs; confers with product manager regarding test results and makes additional alterations to machinery as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Some vocational or community college with related coursework or equivalent experience, required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing and walking.
- Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
- Must be able to visually inspect machines.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Construction Laborer
Qualifications
- Must be able to move materials and equipment weighing up to 50+ pounds
- Repetitive use of hands for simple grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation required
- Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, ladder and stair climbing and occasional crawling and twisting are a must to perform the basic functions of the job
- Must be able to follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in commercial construction projects; performs manual work in preparing surfaces for concrete, exterior paving, sidewalk, tilt wall etc
- Lubricates and cleans machinery, equipment, and tools
- Erects and disassembles scaffolding, shoring, braces and other temporary structures
- Builds and positions forms for pouring concrete and dismantles forms after use, using saws, hammers, nails, or bolts
- Dig trenches and levels earth to grade specifications, using pick, shovel, and rake
- Shovels bituminous concrete into construction areas
- Grinds, scrapes, sands, or polishes surface, such as concrete surfaces for cleaning or finishing, using abrasive tools or machines
- Mixes concrete and mortar and grout
- Use pressure washer and sprayers
- Cut lumber to specified dimensions, and drill holes lumber
- Hold sighting rods, and other equipment, to aid in establishing reference points and lines
- Align, straighten, plum and square form for installation
- May drive vehicles with the capacities under 26,000 GVW
- If required, Inspect and maintain vehicles and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tire, lights and brakes in order to ensure that the vehicles are in proper working condition
- Report accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations
- Maintains a clean job site: picks up all tools and equipment and secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazards
- Signals equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment and materials
- Performs materials handling and storage
- Loads and unloads trucks
- Follow instructions as directed by foreman/superintendent

Concrete Finisher
REQUIREMENTS:
ALL Applicants must be:
- 18 years of Age
- Legally Eligible to Work in the US
- Must have reliable transportation to and from jobsite every workday (driver’s license not required)
- Must provide own hand tools (excluding power tools)
- May be expected to travel where the project requires (multi-state opportunities)
Primary Function of a Concrete Finisher: Place and finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as concrete floors, walks, sidewalks, roads, or curbs using a variety of hand tools. Place concrete for walls and footings. Grind and rub hardened concrete to a uniform surface.
Duties:
Typical Duties include but are not limited to:
- Move discharge chute of truck to direct concrete into forms then spread, level, and smooth concrete, using a rake, come along, shovel, hand, or power trowel, hand or power screed, and float; rough surface with a broom if plans call for it.
- Set forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch, grade, depth.
- Check forms that hold the concrete to see that they are properly constructed.
- Chip, scrape, and grind high spots, ridges, and rough projections to finish concrete by using pneumatic chisels, power grinders, and/or hand tools.
- Mold expansion joints and edges, using edging tools, jointers, and straightedge.
- Monitor how the wind, heat, or cold affect the curing of the concrete throughout the entire process.
- Utilize concrete vibrators to consolidate concrete.
- Must be safety minded and adhere to all safety policies.
- Complete all additional duties as required by supervisor.
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:
- Must be able to respond quickly to supervisor’s directions.
- Verify equipment and materials are used properly, and report unsafe conditions to management.
Equipment Operator
Qualifications
- The successful candidate must possess the ability to follow verbal and written instructions, maintain a reliable means of contact (i.e. home or cellular telephone) and maintain good attendance
- The physical requirements of the job are standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven surfaces, shoveling, and heavy lifting up to 50 lbs
- This employee must maintain a Class B Commercial Driver’s License
- No High School Diploma/GED, with 5-7 years experience operating heavy equipment – i.e., backhoe, front-end loader, excavator, dump trucks, or motor graders;
- Valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- The primary duties of this position will be to safely and effectively operate a wide variety of heavy and light equipment
- Heavy equipment may include but is not limited to: skid steers, excavators, front-end loaders, rollers, tandem dump trucks, telehandlers, motor graders, and compactors.
- This person may be required, at times, to perform other duties such as assisting mechanics in maintaining and repairing equipment
- Work is performed outside in all weather conditions
